Mommy & Me

We had a fun time at the Mommy and Me Christmas party this morning!  All of the kiddos were dressed in their cutest Christmas pajamas (and some of the mommies too!).  We had some good food, made cute crafts, and listened to the Christmas story (complete with Noah and an ambulance--haha).  Here are some pictures!

Oh Boy!

We have another new addition to the class!  Laura and Sergio welcomed baby Sergio on November 28 at 11:12 p.m.  He weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long!  Congratulations Reyes family!

Another New Addition!

Welcome to baby Brooklyn Christine!  She was born on Monday at 8:13 a.m.  She weighed 7 lbs 1 oz and was 19 inches long.  Congrats to Austin and Lindsey and new big brother Brady!

Baby Bush

Meet our newest class member...

Chloe Elise Bush was born on Friday, October 21st!  She was 6 lbs, 14.9 oz and 19 1/2 inches long!  She is beautiful!  Congratulations to Casey, Candace, and big sister Cadie!  We can't wait to meet her!

Date Night

We had a great date night tonight!  We went to see the movie "Courageous," which was a wonderful movie.  We laughed, we cried, we were annoyed by a girl in front of us with a cell phone...(well okay, maybe that was just one of us!).  All in all, it was a fun night!  Hopefully we can try to have more of those non-kid nights (and a few with the kiddos as well!).

Starting on Sunday, October 16th, we will be joining the rest of the church for an all-church Sunday morning study on "Building Antioch."  We will all meet in the Fellowship Hall during our Sunday School hour.  Coffee will be provided, but feel free to bring munchies (and share with everyone else too!!!).  This will be a great time to fellowship and learn with other adults in our church.

There are so many great men's events in the next few months, so all of our "courageous dads" out there...take notice!  And moms, we can have our own "mom's breakfast" or "mom outing" on the days they have their events if you want...or maybe just an early morning play date!

Welcome Baby Mosser!

We would like to welcome the newest addition to our class, Audrey Kaelyn Mosser!  She was born on 9/18 at 8:18 a.m. and weighed 7 lbs 11 oz and was 20 inches long.  Congratulations to the happy parents, Adam and Helena as well as new big sister Elsa!

Brooklyn's Baby Shower

This Saturday we had a shower to celebrate Lindsey and baby Brooklyn!  There was food (yummy cake balls!), fun, and lots of pink!  We can't wait to meet Brooklyn!

Be Courageous

There is a new Christian movie coming out called "Courageous."  Here is the website:

Please watch the trailer and check out the site!  It looks amazing.  I think it would be a great date night for our class!  It opens September 30, so maybe we could go on October 1 (Saturday) to see it.  I just need a little feedback from everyone before I can make plans for us!

-Afternoon movie or night (around 7ish)?

The closest theater that is showing it (I believe) is Cinemark in Mansfield.  If anyone knows of a closer one, please let me know!

August 28th

Hope everyone's having a great week!  Important bits for this week:
-This Sunday (Labor Day weekend) we will just meet and take attendance and will then go to lunch!
-Remember to sit together in the service (which starts at 9:30)
-We are now meeting in room 230 for Sunday School
-Each month I am going to pick a new "Spotlight Couple" and ask you to fill out some fun info and send me a picture.  This will be sent out to everyone as a fun way to get to know each other better!
-Continue to email prayer requests and/or put them in our prayer request box in the Sunday School room.

Just a few reminders:
-We have a new classroom!  We will now meet in room 230.
-We will start sitting together in the service (which starts at 9:30 for those that don't know! :o)

Retirement Party

Last Saturday we had a party for our "retiring" teachers, the Hawkins and the Brackeens.  We all had a wonderful time at the Elsner's house.  There was great food, fun, and lots of laughs (and a few tears).  As a class we gave the Hawkins and Brackeens a memory book full of pictures and letters from each of the families in our class.  Thank you guys so much for all you have done for us!
